Maskotka tomato originates from Poland and is a pretty bush tomato with small, red, round fruits that taste aromatic-sweet. The compact and bushy growing plants grow only about 30 to a maximum of 50 cm high and are ideal for small pots on the balcony, terrace or even on a south-facing windowsill. Very productive and does not need to be thinned out.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20-25°C and germination occurs after 8-14 days. To accelerate germination, the seeds can be presoaked overnight in a damp cloth. Plant out the pre-pulled plantlets only after the last frost. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. More growing tips at the species Cocktail vine tomato.
