Balcony Tomato Totem is an F1 hybrid, very early-maturing, compact-growing professional variety with medium-sized (approx. 3 cm) fruits and an excellent, very sweet and aromatic taste. Ideal for growing in containers on the balcony.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow from February to April in seed trays. Only cover the seed very lightly. Sowing depth approx. 0.2 cm. Provide sufficient light. Germination from 18°C after approx. 8-10 days, optimally 20-22°C. When the cotyledon is visible, prick out into small pots and cultivate at approx. 16-20°C. Thanks to its compact growth (45-70cm), 'Totem' is ideal for growing in hanging baskets, pots or containers. Of course, you can also cultivate this variety in the traditional way in the bed. It's best to find a sunny, sheltered spot with loose, humus- and nutrient-rich soil for 'Totem'.
