Description

The Barrys Crazy Cherry tomato is an extremely high-yielding cherry tomato from the USA. Bred by Brad Gates (Wildboarfarms). Multiflora tomato (30-60 cherry tomatoes on a vine) with many egg-shaped, pointed, light yellow fruits. It impresses with its great, sweet-fruity aroma. They grow to a height of up to 2.00 m/2.2 yd. The fruits can be stored surprisingly well if a complete bunch is harvested. Late blight tolerant (not blossom end rot).

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Barry's Crazy Cherry prefers a sunny to semi-shady location in a sheltered outdoor area or greenhouse, but can also be grown in a container on a balcony/patio. The plant should be thinned out regularly to ensure good growth. Huge bunches of small yellow tomatoes hang from the plant. When eating, it is best to nibble off the slightly hard tip first. Ripening time: medium-early, 70 to 84 days.
