Lettuce `Buttercrunch` is a fast-growing, heat-tolerant variety with thick, juicy leaves that have a buttery flavor. It has a very long growing season, from spring to fall, and forms pretty rosettes that have little tendency to bolt and do not become bitter even during hot spells. It grows best in sunny locations, but will tolerate partial shade.
Non hybrid
