Accent is a high-yielding traditional variety. The variety has a semi-erect growth and shiny, dark green, oval leaves. The 5-7 cm high, dense leaf rosettes are harvested whole and can be used without much cleaning. The variety is suitable for autumn harvest and wintering under foil.
F1 Hybrid
Frostproof
Sow thinly, distributed in rows 0.5-1 cm deep and 10-15 cm apart. Earth is added on top and well pressed so that the seeds have soil contact. Water well and do not let it dry out. Lamb's lettuce still grows at temperatures between 5 and 10°C. Minus degrees are tolerated. However, there is no growth at low temperatures. Depending on the weather, late sowings may not be ready for harvest until spring. For cultivation in areas that become free late (for example, after tomatoes or cucumbers), you can pre-cultivate plants. To do this, sow 6-8 seeds at a time in small pots and plant them out 4-6 weeks later with root balls 10 × 10 cm apart. In this way, you can still achieve a good growth until winter. However, directly sown stocks take root deeper and are more resistant to drought.
