Mountain savory is one of the hardy, easy-care and particularly aromatic seasoning and medicinal herbs. The only 25-30 cm high bushes bloom profusely in June-July and are an attraction for bees, bumblebees and butterflies. The fine leaves flavor meat dishes, sausage, soups and salads, bean and cucumber dishes. Slightly peppery taste.
