Description

'Talar' is one of the earliest varieties with round tubers. It produces abundant harvests and tubers that remain crunchy for a long time. The white flesh of 'Talar' celeriac is protected by a thick, beige-colored skin. The flesh has no tendency to become pithy or change color after cooking.

Growing tips

The plants are sensitive to cold and thrive best in nutrient-rich, humus-rich soil with a regular supply of water during the main growing season. Celery is a light germinator, so when sowing, you should only lightly press down and water the seeds, but do not cover them with soil.
