Celery stalk with delicate aroma. For delicious snacks, salads, steaming and dipping. A noble, healthy and delicate tasting trendy vegetable. It contains plenty of fiber, is rich in vitamins and secondary ingredients so important for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. But the best thing about green celery is the juicy, low-calorie stalks with their delicately spicy flavor. They are especially delicious raw, as party sticks for dipping in spicy sauces, but also (including the leaves) in soups or steamed as a side dish with meat. `Tango' is a professional cultivar with the best characteristics, long and very smooth stems, with high tolerance to shooting, side shoot formation, leaf spot diseases and to adverse weather conditions.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Make sure the plants are well hardened off: from the end of April until planting out after the frosts, ventilate abundantly or place the plants outdoors during the day. Too great a difference in temperature will lead to bolting and stunted growth. With 'Tango', mounding or bleaching are not necessary.
