Description

Very vigorous and healthy outdoor variety from France, with upright growth. Conduction required. Fruits grow to about 20-25 cm/7.9-9.8 in long, are elongated cylindrical of dark, black color with smooth, shiny skin. Specialty for the hobby.

Growing tips

The very heat-requiring eggplants prefer a greenhouse or a planter (approx. 15 liters) in warm, protected corners on the terrace, balcony or in the garden. The optimal growing temperature of organic seeds should be consistently above 20°C/68°F! Be sure to harden off the eggplant plants one week before planting. Harvest eggplants regularly so that the plant can set new fruits again. Tip: Eggplants can also be cultivated well on the balcony in sufficiently large pots (capacity at least 10l).
