'Little Fingers' is a very compact growing variety of approx. 60 cm. This makes this variety particularly suitable for growing in pots or containers (from 10 l pot size). Its fruits are small, they can be harvested and enjoyed from 4-7 cm in length, but can also grow somewhat larger, with slightly purple-colored leaves that look very attractive together with the dark purple fruits hanging in clusters. It has a sweet taste and a very fine texture, and the skin can also be eaten without any problems.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Before sowing, cold period in the refrigerator for one week at 4-5°C. Sow in pots at a temperature of 24°C under a well-lit shelter. Separate at the 2-3 leaf stage. From mid-May (after the first frosts), plant outside and bury until the first leaves appear. This variety is best suited for containers from a size of 10 liters, as the plant only grows to a height of approx. 60 cm and the fruits should be harvested from a size of 5 cm to a maximum length of 10 cm. The plant is at its most productive from mid-August.
