Description

Elongated, initially purple, later dark purple fruits, also suitable for keeping in containers in a sunny, sheltered spot on a patio or balcony. In very warm places, e.g. in a greenhouse, the fruits can grow up to 25 cm long. The fruits have a very good flavor. The flesh is light in color and firm. Early ripening in approx. 90 days.

Growing tips

Sow at the beginning to end of February in a warm place in a seed tray. Prick out young plants into pots when they are approx. 5 cm high. Plant out from the beginning of May at a distance of 60 cm on all sides in a greenhouse or from mid-May in the open ground (cover with fleece). Tie to a stake. Always break out the first flower.
