Eggplant `White Casper` is an excellent, glossy white old variety from France. The eggplants are elongated and grow to about 15 cm long. They have an excellent intense flavor, slightly of mushrooms. However, they should be processed fresh, as they can get brown spots in the refrigerator. They ripen relatively slowly, but cope well with somewhat cooler Central European weather and bear until the first frost. The variety produces a medium-early harvest and has a stable, rather broad bushy habit.
