Description

Crossing of the varieties Elsanta and Polka. Single-bearing, medium-late variety. Particularly well suited to colder climates in Northern/Western Europe, as it has good frost resistance. High yielding. Also for early greenhouse crops. Forms round, uniform, medium red and firm, shiny fruits. Juicy-sweet taste. Good shelf life. However, the fruits, despite their firmness, tend to bruise. Little susceptible to diseases. But susceptible to wilt disease (Verticillium), black root rot (Phytophthora cactorum) and Rhizoctonia. Perennial. Self-pollinating.

F1 Hybrid

Frostproof

Growing tips

Harvesting can be accelerated by covering the plants. A thin layer of straw under the plant protects against soil moisture and dirt. If necessary, fertilize specifically with magnesium. Is propagated by runners.
