Growing tips

Fall planting with potted green plants provides an early harvest start the following year. Spring planting (March/April) provides a later harvest start with the main harvest in July/August. However, early planting requires attention to soil temperature, which should be at a minimum of 7- 8 °C. Outside temperatures of 10-12 °C are acceptable.
