FOLLOWING YEARS
This medium-early variety has strongly shiny, red, cone-shaped berries with juicy-sweet, aromatic flesh. Korona strawberry is also characterized by its high yield and tolerance to diseases and is one of the June-bearing strawberry plants. The growth of the plant is strong and stoloniferous with beautiful white flowers. Due to the short shelf life and because of the soft consistency, the variety is suitable for quick processing into jams and juices. In the second year of harvest, the fruits of Korona strawberry become slightly smaller.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Strawberries love a well-drained humus garden soil with adequate water supply - especially before harvest time. Pot planting: very suitable for boxes, pots, tubs, hanging baskets. More anabutipps at the species strawberry.
