The strawberry delicacy "Mieze Schindler" has existed since 1925 and was named by the breeder after his wife as a declaration of love. Its medium-sized, dark red fruits have a particularly delicate, intense aroma. Strongly dark red fruits that taste like blackberries. They are a real rarity. Late fruiting, long harvest time. Exclusively female flowers, so it needs at least one other strawberry variety for fertilization, as the "Kitty Schindler" is self-sterile.
F1 Hybrid
Frostproof
Strawberries are usually planted as seedlings and subsequently propagated by runners, but it is also possible with seeds, especially monthly strawberries can be propagated only by seeds or stock division. Strawberries grow best in deep, loose and humus-rich soils, as they are prone to disease when waterlogged. They also like a sunny position. Young plants can be planted from spring to autumn, but the optimal time for garden strawberries is July or August, and for monthly strawberries is recommended as early as mid-May. When planting the heart of the plant with the young shoots should not be under the ground.
