The robust variety 'Hummi' has proven itself as a self-fertile plant for decades and its juicy and aromatic fruits can be harvested until the first frosts. Its long tendrils can be trained to a height of around one meter on the patio, balcony or in the garden bed. This variety produces flowers and sweet fruits in its first year. Enjoy snacking! Origin: cultivar, German breeding Family: Rose family, Rosaceae Growth: The climbing strawberry grows vigorously, its tendrils form daughter plants, with which it grows to a height of one to two meters. Shoots: Mother plants are formed on the shoots. Flowering: The climbing strawberry constantly produces new flowers, so even late frosts do not harm the yield. Fruit: The aromatic and juicy strawberries can be harvested from the beginning of June until the first frosts. 'Hummi' is therefore a perpetual bearer.
