Description

Amandine strawberry plants are characterized by healthy growth and a rich fruit yield from July to October. The high resistance of this everbearing strawberry variety also makes it a true strawberry favorite. Amandine strawberries are characterized by elongated, large, almost heart-shaped, medium-red fruits. They also taste fruity and aromatic like strawberries, just as you would expect from a juicy strawberry fruit. The shelf life of Amandine strawberries can be classified as good. With its large fruit and firm flesh, Amandine is particularly suitable for making jam. The Amandine strawberry variety is also an absolute recommendation for all kinds of autumnal strawberry dishes. Or simply for snacking, of course.

Growing tips

The Amandine strawberry plant belongs to the everbearing frigo plants. According to the frigo principle, Amandine strawberry plants are planted in March at an outside temperature of 12 °C and above. Covered with fleece, the strawberry plant can also be planted even earlier. Amandine is a strong strawberry variety with little susceptibility to typical strawberry diseases and is therefore particularly easy to care for for the gardener.
