Description

Berneck 2 is a new Swiss variety with excellent strawberry aroma. The blunt conical, medium sized, firm fleshed, dark red fruits ripen from July to October. Multiple bearing. Medium vigorous and very healthy growth.

Growing tips

Mostly available only as a plant. Planting time: in the spring, because multiple bearing variety. The heart of the plant should not be covered with soil. The top surface of the root ball should be flush with the surrounding soil surface. Plants planted too high or too deep will grow less well and have poor footing. Water the root ball well before planting.
