Germidour is a pink garlic variety from France, popular for its good taste. Mild-spicy and slightly sweet. Easy to care for, resistant to virus and long lasting. Especially famous is the, grown near the town of Lautrec, "Rose de Lautrec" Germidour.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
A permeable soil is important, as waterlogging should be avoided. In winter, it is recommended to cover the bed with straw, fleece or brushwood, although the plant often survives even heavier frosts without damage. Planting can be done both in autumn and in spring. However, the fall is better, because the next year they are already better rooted and a better harvest, from June to August, can be expected.
