Description

About 40 cm/15.7 in tall plant, similar to the pineapple cherry but smaller. It produces small tasty golden fruits that are sweet and slightly tart and covered with an attractive lantern-shaped skin. Easy to grow. Drop to the ground before harvesting and eat when the fruit is orange-yellow. Very rich in antioxidants and beta-carotene. Can be used in several dishes: Fruit salads, sorbets, coulis, jams, salsa, etc.

Growing tips

Height 60 cm/23.6 in, do not pinch out shoots, many small, sweet, aromatic lantern fruits. Sunny, warm location with nutrient-rich soil
