Description

Basil is a very popular aromatic seasoning herb. Both fresh and dried leaves are used and are an important ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine. The variety is characterized by shiny, dark green leaves with an aromatic fragrance and flavor. High yielding. Robust.

Growing tips

Can also be sown directly outdoors from the beginning/middle of May. Light germinator, only cover lightly with soil. Wind-protected position is advantageous. Germination after 1-3 weeks at about 15°C. Indoors, sowing can be done all year round. Harvest before flowering.
