A new variety from British breeding. The leaves are purple, aromatic and strong. A decorative as well as edible plant that is particularly suitable for growing on the windowsill. Can also be grown in a pot on a balcony/terrace in summer.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Basil is very sensitive to the cold. The heat-loving plant needs plenty of water in summer. It can be grown from seed from the end of March. The seeds should not be covered with soil, as it is a light germinator. When growing perennial varieties, basil must be overwintered indoors during the winter months.
