Description

This perennial basil grows like bush basil, only taller. Forms beautiful spherical bushes. In terms of aroma, it is an excellent substitute for Genovese basil, with an even stronger flavor and more robust! Another advantage is that it flowers rarely and infrequently, so there are always young, tender leaf shoots.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

It is better and easier to take a few cuttings in late summer/autumn, root them indoors and leave the mother plant in the garden than to dig it up and pot it up for overwintering. Propagating cuttings.
