Description

This Thai basil has a very uniform and balanced growth and forms large, pointed leaves. The plant grows up to 40 cm high. This plant prefers a warm and sunny location and humus soil. Unlike normal basil, Thia basil 'Siam Queen' is harvested only the tips. This allows new leaves to grow again and again from the shoot axils. This makes the plant denser. Because of its unique flavor, basil goes well with Thai green curries, mozzarella, pesto and pizza. The basil also helps against stomach upset, sleep problems, rheumatism and headaches.
