F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Taste best harvested young and tender. Pick early. Fruits do not exceed 20 cm in length, promotes the formation of new fruits. Sensitive to injury to roots when planting and to drying out of the bale. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
