Description

Bushy growing. Strongly marbled leaves. High yielding. Good health. Dark green, elongated fruits. Resistant to powdery mildew. Germination after 6-10 days at 18-25°C.

Growing tips

Recommended growing season: 4 years. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Harvest regularly to ensure continuous formation of new fruit. Fertilize and water regularly. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
