F1 hybrid. Slim, tender zucchini. Early maturing, bushy, with golden yellow fruits and yellow flesh. Non-climbing and early to pick. Finer, fruitier than green zucchini. Remains yellow when cooked.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Germination after 8-14 days at 16-25°C. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants can pollinate each other. Harvest regularly to ensure continuous formation of new fruit. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
