Description

F1 hybrid. Space saving climbing zucchini & convenient harvest. High yielding until autumn. Tender, aromatic, dark green fruits. For outdoor, greenhouse and planters. High yielding even in cooler temperatures. Germination after 1-2 weeks at approx. 24°C.

Growing tips

Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Vine support recommended. Harvest regularly to ensure continuous formation of new fruit. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
