Grows bushy (barely climbing) with green, slightly marbled, elongated fruit and low pith. Light green to white flesh, depending on harvest time. Harvest begins about 6 weeks after planting. Early-growing and good yield. Open growth (min. 1 m²).
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Plants can be grown in advance, but do not have to. They develop into vigorous seedlings within two weeks after sowing. After another 6 weeks can already be harvested. Germination temperature for growing: 18-20 °C. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants can pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so that new fruits are formed continuously. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
