Description

Gold Rush is bushy. It is a medium-early, very productive variety with golden yellow, elongated fruits that have a very fine flesh. The fruits can be eaten raw or boiled or fried, peeled or unpeeled, stewed, braised, breaded or fried in fat. A very special delicacy are the large, yellow, edible flowers.

Growing tips

Pre-cultivation in the house possible from April, germination temperature 20 to 22 degrees, 1 - 2 weeks. Then put bright but cooler 15 to 18 degrees. Put in the bed after the icemen, moist soil sunny semi-shaded place. High water requirement. Gold Rush is well suited for deep freezing.
