Description

Traditional zucchini variety from (North) Italy. The fruits are marbled, bright and wedge-shaped and are harvested most small at a length ca.15-20 cm (become up to about 50 cm/2 kg). Fine firm consistency of the flesh, nutty taste. Richly bearing and open growing. Plant grows bushy/not tendril, blooms early and abundantly.

F1 Hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Sowing for young plants in early-mid April (12 - 26 C°) or calculate about 4 weeks until planting. Plant out when danger of frost is over. The plantlets are then stronger and also not such easy prey for slugs. Regular harvesting of the smaller fruits is important so that the plants can always form new flowers.
