F1 hybrid. Bushy, compact & open growth. Require little space and continuously form dark green fruits. Ideal for pot culture. Plant at least 3 plants at the same time to achieve good pollination. Ripening time approx. 45-50 days. Not climbing. Harvest fruits young. Silver-like spotted leaves are not diseased, but an inherited trait. Germination after 1-2 weeks at min. 12°C.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Protect from slugs when young. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so that new fruits are formed continuously. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
