Early-mid ripening. Compact & vigorous. Dark green, elongated fruits. Firm, white flesh. Open growth. Harvest first fruits early. Germination after 1-2 weeks at 18-22° C.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so new fruit will form continuously. Fertilize and water regularly. Mulch with straw if necessary. Observe crop rotation. Self-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
