Description

Improved biodynamic breeding of the variety Blue Green Winter. Vigorous, blue-green leaves and medium-long, thick, white shafts. Very good frost hardiness. Suitable for overwintering on the bed. Earlier sowing in April May is possible for an earlier harvest from November.

Non hybrid

Frostproof

Growing tips

Warm cultivation of 20-25 °C prevents later shooting. Prick out at a size of about 20 cm. Direct sowing possible. Thrives better in cooler, moist weather. For outdoor cultivation, sow in rows (distribute bag contents to approx. 2 m row), press down well and keep moist. After about 12 weeks, when plants are almost pencil strong, plant in furrows in well-fertilized loose soil. Mounding produces longer shanks with higher white content. Cultivation break about 3 years.
