A high quality leek that produces good sized, blanched white stems and blue-green foliage. Keeps well over a long period in all weather conditions.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Sowing method: Sow the seeds 1 cm deep in 10 cm wide seed drills, about 2-300 seeds per meter. When the plants are as thick as a pencil, dig them up, cut back the roots to 3 cm and the stems to 2/3 of their original length. Dig holes 15-20 cm deep and place a leek in each hole. Leave the holes open so that the plants have room to grow, except during dry periods when the holes should be filled to prevent the roots from drying out.
