Upright growing leek of the blue-green winter type with low bulb formation. High frost tolerance, especially suitable for winter harvesting or overwintering in the field. Produces high yields of excellent quality. For harvesting from December to April. Development period 140 - 180 days.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Leeks prefer deep, nutrient-rich soil. The young plants should be grown in advance and can be transplanted when they are about the thickness of a pencil. Mounding the leeks with soil ensures white, smooth leek shafts and protects winter leeks from freezing.
