No strings, many very long (28 cm), tender and fleshy pods are the characteristics of this sought-after cultivar. Its fine aromatic flavor is excellent and surpasses that of other bean varieties. It matures early and covers itself with a cloud of fiery red flowers. High yields, fast robust growth and good resistance to harsh and bad weather, plus a magnificent, colorful sight - in "Lady Di" both types of use are perfectly combined. Perfect for greening arbors, fences or balcony boxes. The pods are suitable freshly harvested and steamed as a vegetable garnish, as a string bean, for canning and freezing. Do not consume raw. Children love the fire bean tent where they can hide and harvest at the same time. Place several stalks together in a circle and sow several seeds on each. A shady teepee will quickly grow together.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Always lay out 2-3 grains around one rod. Spacing of the stalks in the row 80 cm, spacing of the rows from each other 100 cm. Sowing depth 2-3 cm (dark germination). Anchor the trellis or poles for pole beans securely against wind or place them in a sheltered position. Never allow to dry out completely during germination. If possible, water the soil thoroughly before and after sowing. Keep constantly moist.
