Description

This kiwano grows very vigorously and produces very round fruits with spiky skin, which are orange-yellow when ripe and have a diameter of 8 to 10 cm. They contain a delicious emerald green flesh, juicy and sweet, filled with white seeds. Kiwano, also known as horned cucumber, is a well-known, aromatic fruit from the gourd family. Jelly Round is a little-known variety, roundish, jagged, light green to white when fully ripe and with a flavor between banana and lemon.
