Description

"Merida Bicolor" is a modern top variety that is pollenless. The flowers have a clean, dark brown center and large golden-yellow flowers with a reddish-brown ring. The flowers contain plenty of nectar and are popular with bees, bumblebees and butterflies. This sunflower has a compact habit and is approx. 40 cm tall, making it suitable for planting in containers. Merida Bicolor" is also very popular as a cut flower for making small summer bouquets. The abundantly branched "Merida Bicolor" continues to flower after the main bloom with numerous secondary blooms. It is recommended to sow in successions of approx. 2 weeks to ensure an uninterrupted flowering display until the fall.
