Description

'Feathergreen' has finely feathered, curly, light green leaves with light-colored petioles that enrich salads and wok vegetables with their mild, mustardy, pungent, exotic aroma. It is suitable for pot and balcony cultivation. It has limited hardiness when young and is suitable for growing in a cold house. On the windowsill, it produces fresh greenery all year round.

Growing tips

The cultivation of Asian lettuce is uncomplicated and can be done in balcony boxes. It is usually sown here between March and September, but can also be cultivated all year round in a greenhouse or foil tunnel. In summer, it should not be sown in excessively hot temperatures. Loosening the soil and keeping it evenly moist will prevent fleas. Asian lettuce can withstand temperatures down to -10°C. Do not cut the lettuce too deeply when harvesting, as it will grow back a few more times.
