Leaf celery belongs to the umbellifer family (Apiaceae). Robust, grows very quickly. Grows up to 40 cm tall and forms finer celery leaves. Used as a seasoning herb. Keeps pests away from tomatoes and lettuce. Sowing in March is best in a cold frame.

Cover only very thinly with soil, press the seeds down and keep moist. The leaves can be harvested from May to October. Germination after 3-4 weeks at 18-20°C.
