A wild cucumber native to the south-east of the USA. It is a close relative of the Mexican mini cucumber, but a different species. It produces masses of mini cucumbers, all light green in color. They taste like cucumbers, with a little more sweetness and acidity. Cucumbers that have not been picked and are too old turn dark green. The plants can be grown lying down, climbing or hanging down. It is a plant with delicate shoots, small leaves and tiny flowers.
