Jump to the beginning of the image gallery Produces a high weight yield and keeps fresh longer when cut than Simple Cress, therefore ideal cutting variety for soil culture. As a larger plant also a good addition to the Asian assortment. Very frost hardy. Cress is uncomplicated to grow, but beware: cress is a light germinator and should only be sown shallowly and covered very thinly with soil or sand. Garden cress is a weak grower and does not make any special demands on the soil. The large-leaved cress is milder in taste and therefore also well suited for salad mixes. Make sure they are protected against slugs.
