Description

The perennial, evergreen and herbaceous aquatic plant forms stems between 10 and 30 centimeters, sometimes even up to 70 centimeters long. These are hollow, branch strongly and creep or float on the water surface.

Growing tips

Watercress permanently survives only in open water, permanently moist mud bed or water bucket. In pots with nutrient-rich and humus soil, it needs a container with water, in which it is placed and through which it is constantly supplied with fresh water.
