Vertissimo' is a versatile herb for the kitchen. The spicy-sweet, aniseed-like taste and aroma goes wonderfully with soups, sauces and salads, for example, or with quark, herb butter and mayonnaise. But you can also add chervil to meat dishes such as lamb chops.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Chamomile is a light germinator, so do not cover the seeds with soil. After germination, you should avoid moving the plants if possible, as the roots are very fine and can be easily damaged. Chervil reduces downy mildew and aphid infestation on neighboring plants due to its essential oils.
