Description

The famous eating squash from South Africa, sometimes called mini squash or barbecue squash. Special selection from the line of Gem Squash, but this variety here is strikingly darker, more uniform and beautiful, a true mass bearer. Long-shoots, climbing pumpkin with many orange-sized, uniform, spherical, dark green fruits. One fruit weighs about 250 g. Yellow flesh with a delicate nutty aroma. The young pumpkins can be prepared similar to zucchini (e.g. stuffed). The cooked consistency is about like mashed potatoes in a rich golden yellow tone. Mature pumpkins can be stored well, young fruits only to a limited extent.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant
