Description

In Hungary called 'Nagydobosi Sutötök'. Also called Bleu de Hongrie or roast pumpkin. Vigorous variety. Medium-sized, gray-blue, platy, slightly ribbed fruit with orange flesh and smooth skin. 5-10 kg in weight. Good shelf life. Climbing. Store for at least 1 month after harvesting. Then good for frying. Does not decompose.

Growing tips

When planting, do not injure the roots, and at the beginning especially protect them from slugs. Fertilize and water regularly. Protect with a fleece at cold temperatures below 10°C. Cultivation break: 3 years.
