F1 hybrid. Also called heart Hokkaido. Forms only short tendrils and does not need so much space. Fruits are heart shaped & grow to about 0.8 - 1.3 kg. Thin orange skin & easily peeled off, but can be eaten. Aromatic and tender flesh. Can be kept for several months. Tender young pumpkins can also be used. For grilling, baking, and soups & desserts. Harvested early (from July) also as a raw food. Form up to 8 fruits in the center before they start to tendril. Suitable for large containers & raised beds. Germination after 7-14 days at 20-25°C.
