Grey Ghost is a gray, F1 hybrid pumpkin of the Kabocha type. It is a very tasty pumpkin that can be stored for a long time. It tastes very good in soup and puree, but you can prepare many other dishes with it. If not used all at once, parts can also be frozen. The plant has a climbing habit and bears fruit with a diameter of 20 cm and a weight of around 3.5 kg.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Pre-cultivation in the greenhouse from the end of April. If the temperature permits, seeds can be sown directly outdoors from mid-May. The soil should have a temperature of approx. 18 °C at the time of sowing and in the following week at sowing depth so that the germination process runs smoothly and the seeds are not attacked by mold and bacteria. The ideal germination temperature is 22 °C. Further growing tips for the pumpkin species.
